Redundancy and Business Reorganisation
At this time when many businesses are impacted by COVID19 Paula is working with clients to help consider all options to try and avoid redundancies but when this is not possible she will help plan a fair redundancy programme to try and minimise the impact on the workforce during what is a very difficult and stressful time.
General HR and Employment Law advice
All businesses need HR and employment advice. Paula takes the time to get to know her clients so she can work in partnership with them to deal with HR issues or help resolve workplace disputes quickly including disciplinary and grievance matters, working time and maternity leave.
Contracts and Policies
All employees are entitled to a written statement of employment particulars on or before the first day of their employment which must contain certain information. Paula advises clients on the various contractual terms and policies available to ensure the contract meet the needs of the client and protects the business.
Employment Tribunal Claims
Paula advises both employers and employees in dealing with Employment Tribunal claims and therefore has the benefit of seeing it from both sides which gives her that added advantage.
Paula also delivers bespoke seminars to clients to meet their specific training needs. Recent courses include ‘The Essentials of Employment Law’ and ‘Best Practice when Managing Redundancies’
In addition Paula is the Marketing Partner for the firm and led the project for the rebrand and new website which she is immensely proud of.
Outside of work Paula spends her time with her family and her two horses, one of which is a young rescue pony from the Bluecross.
