How do I get HR and employment advice?
That’s simple – call one of our team and they will be happy to have an initial chat with you and explain the ways in which they can help and will be clear on costs from the outset. Following the first call we will usually arrange a meeting which can be in person or by video to obtain a full understanding of the issue, your commercial objective and advise on the options. Our support does not stop there – we can then draft you any letters to the employees and guide you through the formal process.
Do I need to give my staff an employment contract?
Yes – an employer is required to give all employees a statement of employment particulars on or before the first day of their employment. This must include specific information see Contracts, Polices and Procedures for more information.
I am employing staff for the first- time – what do I need?
If you are a new business and employing staff for the first time, we can provide an employer starter pack to include a standard offer letter, employment contract and handbook to include disciplinary and grievance procedure to help get you off on the right foot.
*The fixed-fee package includes advice on all disputes with employees, up to the point that any Employment Tribunal or Court claim commences – then from here, we will discuss and agree the costs of representation in any such action.
