Trevor Coward

Trevor started his career in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe as prosecution counsel, then stipendiary magistrate before moving to London where he worked for Kingsley Napley, initially in the team defending Jeremy Thorpe MP.

Trevor is an experienced commercial litigator who resolves a wide range of commercial disputes including breaches of contract; partner/shareholder issues; contentious insolvencies; intellectual property litigation, and professional negligence. He acts for a wide range of commercial clients, from one of the world’s largest companies through to companies of any size, and individuals. His cases often involve an international dimension and complex technical issues, and he is well used to obtaining injunctive relief.   Recent work includes obtaining worldwide freezing orders against a company’s fraudulent Finance Director, and claims in negligence against the company’s auditors. The vast majority of his cases are resolved before trial. He is able to facilitate substantial third party litigation funding for suitable cases.
