Personal Injury Paralegal

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal to join a busy Personal Injury team that specialises in road traffic accident, accident at works, high value and brain injury claims.

The successful candidate will work with the road traffic accident team to deliver high-quality legal services and contribute to the growth and development of the department with a focus on developing the Official Injury Claims caseload.

The role provides a fantastic opportunity for the candidate to gain invaluable experience in this area working directly with senior lawyers in the department.  An excellent opportunity to develop and run their own caseload.

Department Specific

By joining our team you will have a varied case load of running client matters including:

  • Direct client contact
  • Managing own caseload
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with our service providers
  • Being part of a thriving and dynamic team
  • Opportunity to work with senior and experienced lawyers
  • Development prospects for the right candidate

Key Skills

The successful candidate will be able to manage their own case load whilst assisting other fee-earners and partners in providing advice and proactive service to the firm’s clients.

Experience of personal injury claims and/or claims within the Official Injury Claim (OIC) is preferable but not essential as full training will be given.

The candidate must have excellent communication and IT skills and ability to develop positive relationships with a strong focus on marketing and networking for business development.

Experience

This role is best suited to a law graduate or someone who has worked in a personal injury team. However, less experienced candidates who can prove they have the skills and qualities needed will certainly be considered.
