More than half of parents have no will, survey reveals

A study carried out by Will Aid reveals that 56% of parents with children under 18 have not made a Will!

Why do parents need to write a Will?

Writing a Will gives the parent or parents a chance to leave clear instructions about who they would like to care for their child in the event of their death, when and how their child is to receive their inheritance and who is to manage the child’s inheritance until they reach the specified age.

If you die without appointing someone to look after your child and there is no one else with parental responsibility, an application would need to be made to the court to decide who the guardian is to be.

Dying without a Will can cause legal problems but also disruption and pain for your family.

Protect your loved ones. Write a Will today.
