Geoffrey Leaver Solicitors sponsor a top night at MKBAA 2017!

As Milton Keynes celebrates its 50th Birthday, the MKBAA 2017 Awards Night demonstrated what great talent and successful businesses we have in the local community.

Geoffrey Leaver Solicitors were proud to have supported the event as the official sponsors of the Small Business Award Category (up to £5 million turnover). Presenting on the night was our Senior Partner – Tim Roberts, who had the privilege of awarding Sweat Studios with their well deserved trophy, who said on the night “We are proud to support this Milton Keynes event, which gets better each year and gives local businesses the opportunity to be recognised for their achievements”.

We were also delighted to see that our own founder member Mr Geoffrey Leaver was recognised on the night as one of the pioneers of Milton Keynes, and he gave a few words of appreciation of being part of such a momentous occasion – but the celebrations didn’t stop there!

Our guest on the night Marian Livingstone, from the MK City Orchestra collected the award for the Cultural Impact category. Also celebrating with the winners was Paula Stuart who was honoured to be a guest of the Willen Hospice table, who were the deserved winners of the Community Impact Award, and Richard Willis was a guest of Marshall Amplification who won both the Design & Creativity and Business of the Year Award. We were delighted to be able to celebrate with such well-deserved winners – what a great night!
