Willen hospice bike ride raises over £40,000

Congratulations to Richard Willis, and the 35 cyclists who set off from Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes to the East Coast and back. The Willen Wheelers 3 Challenge started on 7th July cycling over 270 miles and completed their journey on 10th July 2016.

Richard Willis, a Commercial Property Solicitor and one of our partners, was part of this team and one of the organisers for the event. With Gift Aid applied and with other related donations, the group has raised around £50,000 to date for the benefit of the Hospice.

Every penny raised goes to the Hospice.

Richard describes the ride as very challenging with long distances each day and headwinds and says “It was great fun, and a big achievement whilst making lots of friends along the way. Above all it contributes towards the amazing patient care at Willen Hospice and I was delighted to be a part of this.”
