Race organisers are accepting entries for The Geoffrey Leaver Marathon Relay, which takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2015. Entries will be taken up until midnight on the 24th April 2015 or before if the race is full.
The Relay is a great way for local people to get active with your friends, club-mates and work colleagues to raise money for your favourite charity.
The marathon relay event has formed part of the highly successful Milton Keynes Marathon since the inaugural event in 2012, and is now an integral part of the event. The 2015 Relay is now open to any group of 4 runners, so can teams can be from clubs, charities or a groups of friends in addition to local businesses, provided that each runner is over the age of 17.
Teams of four will split the 26.2 mile distance with each member running approximately 6.5 miles of the marathon course before passing on the baton to the next member of their team. Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest teams, along with honorable mentions for the fastest male and female team members.
