Property Development Quarterly (PDQ) hosts its 5th event in Milton Keynes

Over 100 people from the property and construction industry attended the 5th Property & Development Quarterly (PDQ) networking lunch on Wednesday 18th April in Milton Keynes, chaired by Construction & Development Partner, Richard Millard.

Delegates heard David Bainbridge of Bidwells (who also sponsored the event) talk about the housing evolution proposed in the National Infrastructure Commission’s Report “Partnering for Prosperity” and the improved rail and road links to be built.

Brett Leahy, Chief Planner at Milton Keynes Council looked at the demands Government will place on local Councils to deliver more houses and the importance of developing a cross party agreement on the delivery of new homes, with new house builders entering the market to build on smaller sites and collaboration between the public and private sectors.

Dr Colin Clinton from the Department of International Trade talked about the opportunities for substantial economic investment into the Midlands and CAMKOX Corridor from overseas industry.
