Over the weekend commencing 22nd June 2012, Richard Willis and Troy Warner joined 11 other cyclists and helpers to cycle the now famous coast to coast (C2C) cycle route from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Tynemouth on the East coast.
Cycling over 160 miles in appalling weather, Richard and Troy helped the group to raise over £13000 so far for the valuable work of Willen Hospice.
On a weekend when the A66 was shut and the Trans Pennine rail link rested, the Willen C2C wheelers cycled on through rain, wind and floods.
Their target is £15000, specifically to buy 15 Syringe Drivers for the Hospice. If you feel you can help go to www.virginmoneygiving.com/willenC2CWheelers
