Trevor Coward has been a head of our Dispute Resolution team at Geoffrey Leaver since 1995. He was a barrister, then stipendiary magistrate in Rhodesia before moving to London and training as solicitor with Kingsley Napley.
Trevor specialises in commercial disputes, with particular emphasis on contract and company disputes, and injunctions. He also advises innovation companies in respect of intellectual property issues, and is a director of one such company and has been involved in a significant number of cross border disputes. Trevor is often asked to act for litigants whom he has sued, who say they prefer to have him on their side.
He is the England member of Legal Counsel International, an alliance of international lawyers in 19 countries and provides training in contract law to clients in England and abroad.
In the 2008/2009 edition of Legal 500 he was recognised as "combining in-depth knowledge with very proactive and practical advice" and in the 2010 edition he was described as "Superb" and "totally committed to obtaining the best possible result".
His leisure time pursuits include golf in fair weather, and supporting his sons’ exploits on the rugby pitch in any conditions whatever.
